Though I will agree that the cinematography was brilliant and the actors were good, I find it extremely difficult to reconcile the events as shown in the series with the book. The plots is tilted to what the director wanted us to see and believe rather than what the author of the book had painted for us. As a independent story, I wouldn't had minded watching it but as a adaptation of a book, it does gross injustice to the background.
