I would say this is the best Batman movie ever made. That is not to put down Heath Ledger's legendary performance as the Joker, The Dark Knight will forever be top tier. However, The Batman had so much to offer. Puzzles and detective work, epic fight and action scenes, Batman struggling with his inner demons, and perhaps the best Riddler performance ever, sorry Jim Carrey. My only note on the film is that it is very long, long enough that, even though I thoroughly enjoyed it, I started wondering just how long it was going to go. Still, the film's near flawless performance in all categories more than makes up for this. 5 stars.

An outstanding show with delightful characters, a captivating world and story, and gut busting humor that often takes you off guard. It is geared for older audiences, and I wouldn't recommend watching it if you are easily offended. But if your skin is not made of paper, I think you will enjoy this show. I watched the pilot a little over a year and half ago and instantly became obsessed. I cannot believe this show was made to this level of quality by an indie company. Can't wait for the first season.
