Very sad, deep and well done movie that reveals the many troubles, secrets and dysfunction among families, friends and relationships - while coupled with the mental health challenges that many people hide or are just good at putting on a different persona - especially during that period of the 1950’s.
An inside look at how happiness wasn’t always a given for every typical American family living in the suburbs who seemed to have it all but sadly were miserable. The acting by leo, Kate, Kathy and the whole cast is really top notch. Not the type of movie I normally would watch, but got sucked into it because Leo is such a fine actor.
A bit unsettling but a really good movie that I definitely recommend .
