Hillbilly Elegy is a very touching movie. I'm surprised by the negative reviews from the critics. It's not a perfect movie, but watching it made me relate to things in my life. You don't have to be white and have family from the Appalachian Mountains. Many people, regardless of race, are dealing with the same issues all over the country. Amy Adams and Glenn Close were great with Ron Howards direction.
