Most series we will start rooting for the lead character. But in this series, I rooted for purpose but not the characters. Carrie's characterization made it difficult to like her. I literally hated the romantic scenes between Carrie and Brody. All I could think about was Jessica who was the only one who had some sense of morals. All Carrie does is run around without no regard for anyone even her own child, sleep with anyone who is the enemy and cry. Watching Carrie cry in closeup is horror in itself. Were the makers of the show not watching the horror of the closeups? Half the death in the series is in the hands of Carrie so whenever everyone in the series brag out how brilliant Carrie is, its only annoying
Saul was the only one who had a clear mind.
I don't understand why US TV shows like to stereotype teenagers. Dana's character was typical self-absorbent attention-seeking brat. Her character was also annoying.
If it wasn't for the Plot and the thrilling nature of the series, I would have stopped watching in the first few seasons. One star for the plot and negative stars for Carrie. Hands down Carrie is The TV show character I hated the most.
