I'm a 46 year-old heterosexual husband and father...and I absolutely LOVE this show! The only reason I mention my age and orientation is to show people that this series is for EVERYONE!!! It is fantastic on every level. My wife was a fan of the original series and I was a fan of He-Man as a child...that's just how things were. So when my wife and I were looking for an animated series that my 6 year-old son might enjoy, she wanted to share part of her youth with him. I'm sad and embarrassed to admit that I had a remote hesitation to watching it as well. We have always been very intent on showing our son every color of the rainbow and let him pick which one he likes best. This show, while maintaining excellence in every aspect of a "typical" fantasy animated series, is also a doorway to compassion and warmth. I am very proud of the show-runners for crafting a wonderful series that can provide entertainment as well as an education on love and all the beautiful ways it can manifest. Well done, people!!
