Qasim Kazmi – Google

My expectations running into this movie were HIGH. It was one of the first comic book movies I had seen in a long time. Wonder Woman 1984, I really want to love this movie, with all my heart. But I just cant. I recognize that Patty Jenkins was limited by keeping the movie PG, but this was awful. A big cliche, with a plethora of plot holes, including everyone in the world somehow just apparently understanding English, and Max Lord getting away scot-free, just because he repented? I think the best way to describe this, is a children's movie with an astronomical budget. And that to me, is one of the most soul-shattering parts of it, because going in with such high praise and hype, only for it to be shattered down also due to lack of action. there were roughly about 5 action scenes the whole film, which had such prospect, such potential, but wasted, and kept things cliche, as they were. Almost zero to none story, with character arcs seemingly resolve themselves in a minute, (Max Lord). Again, came in hoping for 5/5, and it breaks my heart to write this
