Rainstrider Streamflower

I liked the plot for the most part but I don't like the way Speckles, was portrayed in the movie. I get that he's scared by the notion of being a single-parent and all but I still find his strict attitude not only inexcusable but unrealistic for his character. For example, he often tends to ignore the fact the some animals he scolds jounior from fleeing are no match for him (The Tsintosaurs and the Beast's children). In those circumstances Junior was trying to protect himself because if he reacted to the Tsintosaur or the Beasts children the way his dad wanted, Junior wouldn't be brave but rather reckless. And I also don't like the way Speckles reacted when Junior displayed is aquaphobia. I get that Speckles was fustrated that Junior sacred him for nothing but a phobia is not something anybody wants and the flashbacks from the first film confirm that Juniors phobias are due to him being washed out during Senior's final battle with One-Eye. Plus, Junior lost his brother as well. So it's no wonder Junior is timid!
