I was very excited for the film, especially when the news of Jamie Lee Curtis returning as Laurie Strode. I went and saw the film last night and I was not disappointed. The build up of Laurie’s PTSD and how it has affected not just her, but her family plays well into the overall story as we have her belief of Michael returning clash with the rest of her family, who tell her to get over it. The two journalists that are seen around the first half are a nice addition to the film as it brings a modern aspect to the film. The five film language areas were amazing, in particular the camera work was phenomenal. The ending was another good yet sad ending as this is the end (unless another sequel is planned, I dunno). I would honestly recommend this film for everyone. Easily top 3 in the Halloween franchise. Solid 4/5
