Gentle, sweet movie about rising up from the madness of anguish and mental pain

This is a movie that demands you pay attention. If you can't do that, you won't like it. Based on a book by Joan Didion, the film exposes the corruption of politics, even as it offers redemption in the guise of a journalist's death. I thought it was brilliant!
