I've watched only 2 Korean movies before this and no series. The main thing for me when watching any foreign film is that the audio must match the sub-titles EXACTLY. Now, I'm giving away my age... but we had to start watching everything with subtitles when my husband became hard of hearing. I can hear just fine - but if the subtitles are off even a little it's too hard for me to watch. Squid Game was a pleasure to watch. Loved all the characters and they were well-developed. The story was like none I've ever seen before. I'm really looking forward to Squid Game 2.
