Excellent movie, it captured the small town atmosphere without all the Hollywood glamour and make believe. No vulgar language or sex. It’s hard to find a movie without that. The acting was great, displaying the characters as expected in the small town that wanted to be left alone as quoted by “Stu” Wilford Brimley. The sheriff displayed his struggle with his faith as what he had to do in the ending as sheriff and also a Mormon Bishop. I did not see too much emphasis on Mormonism but enough as the setting was in Brigham City.
I think the writer, director and actor, Richard Dutcher, accomplished what he wanted to with the movie. The suspense throughout the movie was great and well done!
