I was looking forward to this movie. The trailers looked good. Shia is a solid actor. Unfortunately the movie was really, REALLY bad. The acting performance was bad besides Shia. The whole flashback romance thing doesn’t work. The Matrix Reloaded like action shoot em up style doesn’t work for this type of gang/cartel action movie. The story editing was horrible. I thought it was going to be like Sicario. If it was half as good as Sicario it would’ve been amazing. Two thumbs waaaay down.
