Well, that was rubbish. Both the humans and autobots were wooden with no real heart, the story was forced (boss who uses interns ideas, kids medical bills for the heartstrings tugging). The characters were well selected bad and good, but all done a disservice especially mirage. And the end payoff for the humans: thanks for saving the planet, we'll cover your medical bills just sounds silly to everyone in Europe.

Excellent, no other word to describe this. A fun entertaining movie, well made, flawless with a few nice twists, great character acting and big smiles. 10/10.

So, yeah, ok, everyone was excellent and Chris Evans is a great villain, but the pace oh my goodness, where is character development, backstory, heart? A very well made movie, but really it should have been two.

Could have been so much better so easily: step back a few feet, hold the camera steady, and stay there for a bit. A good story with decent twists and CGI to back it up, but sadly spoiled by the extreme close-up, quick cutting, shaky-cam production that I guess is supposed to heighten the intensity, but in reality just makes a film look cheap and leaves the viewer with nausea. The sooner this trend dies out the better.

First time I watched this I was in shock, looking back because it wasn't what I expected from an X-Men or a superhero film. I've just re-watched it with an open mind and you know what, I love it. It's dark, beautiful, elegant and it explores what happens when power goes wrong. I'd like to take back my previous review and give this a 5, I just wasn't ready at the time.

Critics are like football fans, sitting at home moaning about how they could do better. Ignore them, this is a perfect ending to the saga. Emotional, great action, twists, just brilliant
