This is honestly one of the better, and most original concepts for a horror movie ever created. It is written and directed in the style of Hitchcock, which is why I think younger generations and movie critics missed the mark on this one. It's like all of those folks collectively forgot that all horror is essentially comedy.
The directing and kill scenes are fresh. The director and screenwriter should have put more into fleshing out the characters, but overall it's a great movie, and this is coming from someone who has seen all the classics like 'The Birds'. I always come back to watching this movie every few years. Those who have rated this movie poorly missed the mark, and the point, in my opinion.
