Ridiculous! The whole book follows the life of Character #1. All of her relationships, issues, etc. The driving question is, clearly, what will become of her? Then, literally, in the last three pages of the book, the focus turns to one of her friends and takes the reader through THAT person's last moments of life. Nothing more about Character #1.
