The movie, if you look from the prospective of a true underdog coming up , trying to improve himself , the movie does a wonderful work in depicting the life of Toofan upto the end, Farhan Akhtar is a superb actor and throughout the film he is superb. The film is not like a telling of the story of Toofan, it's actually playing his life as it is , and thus, at certain points in the film u might feel like "how could this happen to him ? " and like what he is feeling at the moment u go through the same. It's very raw in that sense, no super duper punch power, nothing like that , u know just as some people are more fit and aggressive , Toofan is the same who learns to channle his energy inside the ring not outside and thus finds a purpose !
Mrunal Thakur does a wonderful job in portraying the driving force behind/of/for Toofan, and role of Nana Prabhu played by Paresh Rawal Sir feels like was thought keeping him in mind. He depicts coach and any normal father+ ur local uncle type prejudiced character perfectly, I mean I am no one to say anything about him, he is so awesome . Mrunal fits that ray of sunshine type character perfectly and does so without being at any point extra, which is wonderful !
That said now let's discuss some not so good points. The plot being totally for Toofan ,rest of the cast excluding Paresh Sir, Mrunal had not much to do, they undoubtedly did very good ,superb but the plot didn't involved them much and the 2nd half of Toofan's journey felt rushed to me. In order to establish Ananya as the ultimate push for him, I felt that scene/plot point was unnecessary, though it may be cause as I said earlier, u r not reading/watching his story, u r going along with it, so just like anyone who is upset with her death ,I felt the same! Apart from some small things here and there, movie is good !.
Ya so that's why u should watch the movie and decide for urself 👍👍👍😁😁😁
