Maryn Smith

This movie has a lot of good reviews so I decided to watch it and it's sequel. 1st movie: it was decent. Animation is very good and aesthetically pleasing. Soundtrack was very nice. And the overall plot had good potential. However, this movies biggest downfall is it's pacing and lack of proper dialogue/backstory. It's fast paced, very confusing the first 30 min or so, and there isn't really enough time or dedication put into the movie to get me attached to anyone. Also, this might just be a personal thing, but it sometimes was just weird or downright didn't make sense. 2nd movie: was better than the first. Made more sense and pacing seemed to be better. Maybe watching the first helped in this regard, but still quite fast paced and not as gripping, like a movie should be. Overall, they were alright. Did I love them? Nah. We're they bad? Not necessarily. Ide say give it a shot cuz you may take interest in them. But personally, they're just mediocre
