Finally, a film I actually enjoyed. Films of late have either been badly produced, written or acted. I didn't like both the actors in this movies, until this movie. Both of them irritated me, except either they got better with time, or were cast really well. Anya Taylor-Joy was crap in Mad Max, however, with dark hair, a Russian accent, I thought she was believable and great. The trailer didn't ruin anything either, so I wasn't expecting what happened. 4/5 stars. Keep up the good work

Lackluster acting and casting. Comedic parts fell short. Graphics looked better on older films. Character development poor.

Slow. Bad acting from Hathaway. Pacing is bad, keeps showing already established scenes. Unbelievable - no professional psychologist would behave that way.

Started out slow but good. Then got ridiculous and had to turn off half way.

Finally a film that doesn’t have agendas except good writing. Character development. Mushes. And fun.

I tried to watch it. I really did. No suspension of disbelief. Bad acting. Terrible character development. I didn’t care if anything bad happened to the characters. Fails to adhere to Star Wars lore. Feels like it was rushed.

Just streamed this. Don’t know it existed. I have to say the film making techniques are classic to Spielberg, pacing is good, however production costs are low. Grading and fx ,could be better. Music and sound are pretty darn good. Very nostalgic. Feels like a 90s film. Don’t know any of the actors however they do a good job. I’m going to say it holds my attention better than some recent blockbuster films and tv shows (coughdisneycough). I feel the director of given the chance with a bigger budget could be the next Peter Jackson or Spielberg.

Bad acting. Unbelievable dialog. Trying to slap nostalgia in your face every five seconds. Intro started good but was anti climatic. Takes you out of suspension of disbelief. I had high hopes for this ones. I love gb and watch the Adam savage on set stuff but this is just terrible. Anything that takes you out of the suspension of disbelief ruins a film. One example is that one of the ghostbusters techs get their hands frozen and normally the hand freezes and falls of and breaks into a million pieces but not this time. Why were the other kids in New York? It’s not really explained. Why is the ghostbusters vehicle falling apart when they are sponsored by a billionaire? Moving on. I don’t think Patton Oswalt was a good casting choice. He’s not funny and there has been too much controversy with him in recent years. The female ghost playing chess doesn’t make sense either. Doesn’t add to the story or character development. And why chess? If it was her grandfather it would have made more sense. Reitman and co. Lets shelf ghostbusters for a while until it can be done properly.

Just doesn’t cut it anymore. Bad acting. Storylines are now woeful. Singing and bad outfits distract from the non-existent story. RIP dr who.

Predictable. Interesting concept. But has been done before. Acting was good. Dragged on and kept repeating same themes. Not much of a story. CGI was good. A film I wouldn’t watch again.
