Try to watch this film on the biggest screen you can find, just to be able to take in all the chaos of the final battle sequence, as well as the beautiful Scottish scenery. Some may find it similar to Braveheart (which they should since the events in this film take place after the end of Braveheart), but I found this film to feel more authentic in its depiction. That being said, it's not the epic that Braveheart is, which may be a good thing in some ways, since its shorter runtime makes it a more manageable film to fit into busy schedules.
