**Spoiler**
I should have stopped reading after chapter 2, by which time Reacher had not punched a single bad guy. Then I should have stopped reading after chapter 4, as Reacher had STILL not punched a bad guy. By the end of chapter 6 I was getting very worried that I was wasting my life away with this book.
Not even a scuffle with any bad guys so far... and I just kept on reading because I thought to myself "surely he'll get to bust some jaws soon".
But no... I was sorely disappointed.
Sure, there were some clever "Sherlock" style thought processes and deductions, but not a single punch thrown until about page 455. Yes you read that right... page 455, when Reacher gets his arse handed to him by a 4' 11" bad guy called Plato.
Any fans of Jack Reacher and his "unsubtle" style of righting wrongs should probably avoid this one.
