The special effects were overall pretty good, but the script/story was just not good at all. It's one of those 'this is so bad I have to keep watching to see what happens' movies...

Just finished it and loved it. I don't know why the critics are panning it so bad, I loved it and would watch it again. And I was really impressed with Melissa McCarthy's acting. First time I saw her in a serious role and she was awesome!!
