I thought the movie was pretty good, but I was disappointed by the Steven/Greg fusion. The plot was overall very cool and unique, and it really makes you feel for the villain. It was good to see how the gems began and how they looked when they emerged. I felt the villain was very unique and unlike any other villain I’ve seen.
I also appreciated how they showed blood on screen, not many children’s shows have the guts to do that.
