When political messaging is more important than pleasing the fans, you get Terminator: Dark Fate. To hell with the timeline, to hell with story continuity, it's time to lecture evil misogynistic white males on the importance of a female lead. Even though, as writers, we won't try to convince the audience of WHY she should be taken seriously as the leader other than she is FEMALE. They also try to score as many SJW woke points as they can before the credits roll. Congratulations, your formula for a disaster paid off. Your movie tanked.

All of the sexiness from the original is GONE — no more pretty young girls in short skirts. You can forget about the 30-55 year old male demographic for this version. Two thumbs down!
