It could use some polish, but ultimately an enjoyable game. I would not recommend this game to somebody who did not know anything about DnD, as the lore and story really don't hold up unless you're somewhat familiar with the characters and setting already. After a bit of time learning the combos and basics of each character, the co-op can be pretty fun. Monster AI can be a bit slow to react, but the boss fights and larger monsters still provide a challenge. Do not jump into the highest difficulties right away. Take time to level your gear and learn the characters, and Dark Alliance can be satisfying, especially with friends.
