“MY GIRLFRIEND’S JOURNAL: LIES OF TRUTH” by Ashvin Raj is the first part of the Realistic fiction series. The Protagonist Neha depicts her story in this book through the journal of her usual life and how she deals with that.
Neha is presented as a person who is not really a god loving person but someone who is more or less frightened or petrified; she calls God her “papa”, she writes her daily thoughts and emotions such as
“So, I don’t think there is anything wrong with hitting the gym everyday or going to the parlor every weekend. Hmmmmmm…..But…Yes, there is a ‘but’!”
This book is written in a raw manner, as a “Journal” should be, apart from quotes and few hand drawings are concerned. Although I was reading the first book of the series maybe the story will be unfolded later on. As we were reading this from Neha’s POV so we only have a faint idea of the side characters, which multiple POV doesn’t have?
I would say I would like to say if you guys like philosophy books or journals, this is the rawest book I have ever read.
