My husband and I watch Rachel's show every opportunity we can. She is very good at highlighting and explaining how events are connected to one another. So one gets a historical perspective on many issues. History - something a lot of Americans fail to learn or take note of!!! She also has picked up on lesser covered topics at times and brought those to light. Her book - Blow Back - provides an exceptional tracking of the oil industry as well as shale fracking in the United States as well as understanding the importance of the oil industry in Russia and how this has shaped much of what Vladimir Putin does. Dense but fascinating read.
