Chayan Mukherjee

Another experiment done with Byomkesh film...Abir Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty and Anjan Dutta are excellent...Rahul Banerjee as Ajit doesn't get enough scope to prove himself...But I can't appreciate such potrayal of Satyabati (but Sohini Sarkar is good in her performance) as we know her to be more strong and a possessor of great personality which is not seen in this film according to me..Other actors and actresses (Priyanka Sarkar, Baisakhi Marjit, Harsh Chhaya, Bibriti Chatterjee, Sauraseni Maitra, Joydip Kundu and others) are "ok" in their roles...Presentations of Mussoorie, scenery, antique cars and "an atmosphere of old days" are very good...But in several cases, the thrill of the film is diluted to make it a social drama..So I don't dislike it but the film has several drawbacks..But you can watch the film due to some nice acting, scenery and nostalgia of old days.
