Sarbani Pal

Very thought provoking love story with strong and intense acting of Manav Kaul. A special mention of Divya Dutta is must. Amrita Bagchi also portrayed her portion with sensitivity. Music of the movie is quite soothing to ears but unfortunately not properly used and thus wasted. But the director fails to portray that Beni has a very soft corner for Jyotsna in the flashback scenes while Jyotsna's attraction towards her teacher is well enacted. The close scenes between Beni and Geeta were not required as those scenes humiliated sensitive and pure love & affection between Beni and Jyotsna.
