TL;DR If you have not watched it, trust me there is no reason to. Home Alone movies have come to set a certain expectation. This movie certainly does not live up to it. That said, I'd rate this one with a single star as a movie of its own as well. The movie wasn't particularly funny at any point. Considering they were aiming for the comedy genre, I'd term this a devastating failure. Moreover, its a little bit of a stretch to expect a hard working couple to return for a hard core home robbery/invasion a second time. But, to expect a teacher and an IT Professional to fall for every one of children's tricks one after the other is almost unbelievable. It's a lost cause; So much so that I am writing my first review ever, in the middle of night, specifically to warning you of it. Don't bother wasting time on this one.
