Very slow, incomprehensible plot, good acting, poor vehicle.

Its' total cobblers, there are leads in it who are wearing items of clothing and textiles that just were not around at the time depicted.. or authentic in style? Everywhere looks dirty and dreary, and so do a lot of the characters, sometimes dialogue sounds wordy and with more than a nod to Shakespeare, other times, modern parlance...Everywhere looks gloomy and grubby as do the actors and villages and dwellings not suitable you would have thought, for the lead heroine who is high born? More than a bit of a nod to Xena, Warrior Princess I reckon without the big bra bit..But hey! Its fantasy! and I have been rather hooked watching it!
