Brilliant characters and stories well told--however a tad gory. If you're not into watching surgical procedures, you'll learn to look away, but you will not be able to look away from the excellent storytelling.

Slow burn, but good acting. Good pay off at the end.

A bit hackneyed and toothless--cliches abound in the lazy writing--and the acting is pretty bad on most fronts. I gave it the third star because Colm Meaney is the exception--he raises the material up a notch.

Closer to 3 1/2 stars. The movie has wonderful atmospherics--Branagh is a great director and of course his intelligent, witty take on Hercule Poirot is magnificent. Supporting cast is a little weak--won't name names, but two actresses were badly miscast. Overall a really enjoyable thriller and a fine addition to the series.

Meh. just never really caught fire with me. Kind of boring. But I appreciate the intention.

Wanted so very much to like this. Problem is it is slow, not very funny and not at all scary. Such a waste of talent.

Adored it. Great fun and a solid coda.
