As a diehard Mohanlal fan, I too went for the FDFS, but genuinely speaking the movie doesn't do any justice to its fans. Overstretched emotional scenes, Awkward silences, I have to say Poor dialogues and below-average direction. If we can describe the first half as average, the second half turns out to be a disaster. Every Mohanlal movie is a celebration, it's an entertainer and Marakkar turns out to be an avg boring not so engaging film. Casting seems like an old school meet up for Priyadarshan and his friends. Expect for Arjun Sareja and Siddique none of them didn't do any justice for their roles. Even Mohanlal's acting was ordinary and nothing magical for the fans to cheer. The movie might provide a visual treat, VFX was good but it is definitely overshadowed by the downsides of the movie. Don't go to watch the movie as a commercial high budget Mohanlal film, but as a documentary on Marakkar presented on a huge canvas.
