Really liked this show. I lived in London in a share house, in Earls Court during this time. It's a very accurate depiction of the times. There really was total ignorance about what caused AIDs. And there really was total panic about it being infectious via drinking from cups & sharing a flat. The Gay Community were very promiscuous at the time and unprotected sex was the norm in all the Gay Clubs. As a straight woman I'd never felt safer. There were actually guys that looked like the dudes who sang YMCA that would walk me home from the Tube to my flat. Sweet men. A lot of their familiar faces just disappeared over time. They "went home". God it must have been devastating for them, they were only mid 20's most of them. So yeah. A well told realistic TV series - ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
