Very well done movie. It exceeded my expectations by far. Would strongly recommend discerning who you watch this movie with because there is alot of mature content around the darkness of prostitution and abuse. I went with a group of young married Christian women which is more fitting for this type of movie. They did a great job at displaying the darkness of prostitution in a way that helped us understand the pain while not showing us more than we needed, however many times actions were implied but not shown. This was much appreciated being that we live in a very much sex saturated culture. There are sex scenes in it between husband and wife but I felt the movie portrayed the beauty of this intamicy more than just the physical selfish desire of the flesh. The story of redemption was very well displayed. Overall the movie did a great job at alligning with the book and I believe the authors main messages were displayed.
