I love alternative accounts of history and care little for the arrogance of the dominant scientific paradigms. Much of what Graham Hancock presents makes sense and he does a good job creatively filling in some of the gaps that represent our dearth knowledge of our ancient past. It makes sense to me that the apocalyptical Younger Dryas event destroyed whatever civilisation existed at the time, and through their ensuing temples and inscriptions, sought to warn future civilizations of another similar event. We are in danger.
