This book is incredibly well-written. It really opened my eyes and gave me a very informative, new view of some of the experiences people have gone and went through, such as PTSD. There are many carefully thought out details and everything is really well-connected. You develop a lot of empathy toward the characters and get a great sense of their relationships and bonds, especially Ray's and Jon's, and the character's relationships are all very realistic. You get very emotionally connected to the characters. I think Mark Slouka gave the Brewster a very strong ended, and wasn't disappointed in the least bit. This book is one you can read many times and still appreciate it. This is one of my favourite books if not my most favourite and I would recommend it to anyone.
