Loved it. So much better than the book. The way it was shot, edited, sound track, and the performances are really good. Very human and relatable (except for not being able to afford a house like that or holiday in Croatia in a private Villa - ha). I enjoyed it more than Normal People despite that also being very good. It’s a different animal.

I didn’t believe it and neither did some of the actors saying the lines. Kenneth Branagh was scary but in a Bond villain kind of way. Do not think the suggested torture and spousal abuse should be in a 12A. I was bored in the ‘battle’ scene. I had already worked out near the beginning that the protagonist was in the black mask etc. Not a great film. Shame.
