This movie was bad. The plot was like if, Karate Kid, Anastasia, Legally Blonde, Footloose, Cinderella, and High School Musical were all cut and pasted into one generic animation but badly. I lost count of all the "motivational' scenes backed by pop songs. The most diversity seen was a slightly hooked nose in one of the white characters. Seriously, I know it's 1890s France, but there was no way to add ANY POC? Every single scene is either boring or comes across as slightly hysterical and overwrought. Overall, a fun movie for anyone under the age of 10 but nothing that will have any impact on anyone, ever, after they watch it. Except for me. I don't think I'll ever forget how bad that movie was.
