This is the first full length movie about Black Wall Street and it is tragically disappointing and insanely inaccurate. There was not a single instance in which the overwhelming success of the black community living there was put on display in any real way. The whole production reeks of amateurism from directing, editing all the way down to the casting. There was not a single actor on the movie who I would rate above 4/10. I rented the movie on Vimeo, the worst $3.75 cents I’ve ever spent. If you truly want to learn about the events that took place you are better off watching the documentaries on Netflix and Amazon Prime. The movie is an epic fail. I can’t wait for someone with a decent budget who can afford to pay A-list actors and directors to attempt making this movie. It’s too much of an important point in our history to have been so poorly done. If I could have given half of a star I would have. Woefully disappointing.
