Loved this book, the story of Lotte with her family. Growing up in Australia I am reminded of the fear of Communism the attitude towards migrants, the very narrow minded attitude of Australians. We have come a long way from those days just as Lotte and her husband had hoped for, It was a moving story that I found hard to put down, Both books were excellent.
