Adults criticize it because it's not the same magic school bus tht was made specifically for them in 1994. It's like they think this reboot was made specifically for them and not the kids of this generation. I myself am currently 16, and I prefer the original version, but tht doesnt mean adults can just criticize it without giving it a chance because they dont get any nostalgia watching it. Remember, it's for kids of this generation, not you.
