Long winded, predictable storyline. Different direction from the Tolkien story but completely unimaginative lazy writing. Had been looking forward to the series release and had I not been such a fan of the books I very much doubt I would have watched all the episodes!

Well acted but very slow and ponderous through the latter part of the film. No real storyline and the longer it goes on the more you realise nothing that much is going to happen. In honesty you do wonder the point of some characters at all! Guess that's just Tarantino. Does keep you guessing
