Shane MacLaughlin

I really enjoyed this movie when I first saw it not long after it came out and each time that I've watched it since. A languorous and melodic piece where you share a voyage of discovery with John Hurt through the back-roads of a disappearing England. Rather prescient for a film from the 80s to be talking about computer viruses to hack government, i also clicked with the distinctive noises of an old Apple ][ booting up. Looking at other reviews, not everyone's cup of tea but for me a movie I can watch again and again, albeit from a crappy taped copy. If anyone knows where I could buy a decent quality copy I'd be much obliged.
