Red at the Bones leaves much to be desired. I must reiterate a critique that I’ve read by other reviewers; it was difficult to follow (particularly as it pertains to dialogue). The pacing felt scattered and it never delivered on the narrative it promised in the synopsis. The potential was there but it simply wasn’t realized.
