Why would the writers changed a chivalry Bruneian prince into a 'damsel in distress'? a Bruneian prince whom gave a big impact to the local modern literature into a total psychopath? not cool man. "True Story" part is total bs, this film is more like a terrible fanfiction that has nothing to do with the history they referenced of. Does the director even done his research regarding the figures, history and the target audience itself?
This is the local people's history and culture, the writers and the director should fully respect it.
