Dickens will be spinning in his grave at this abomination. Disneyfication all over the place here. Ebenezer Scrooge is a good looking, healthy middle aged man WITH A DOG!! how does that even equate? He's meant to be a skinflint! He wouldn't look after a dog. All of the characters are the same. They look healthy, even Bob Cratchit. Scrooge sings with a nightly powerful voice and the original songs are run of the mill, overly emotional musical style rubbish. They have used some of the songs from the original Scrooge starring Albert Finney and totally desecrated them. They have over musicalised them, or increased the tempo's and lost any of the originals, magical feel. Anyone, who is a fan Dickens, or the Finney and Alistair Sim adaptations needs to stay well clear off this disrespectful rubbish.

Loved every minute of it. Had something for everyone. Brilliant.
