Brilliant account of the Thai cave rescue, and beautiful message about communities coming together to sacrifice and do good works. Farmers, divers, military, doctors, engineers, meteorologists, parents, the long-suffering governor with the weight of the crisis squarely on his shoulders, all share the spotlight in this dramatic, successful mission. I learned about Thai culture and watched how faith and science joined forces. Three young women, new to their work, were given well-deserved attention for their contribution. Surrounded by superiors in experience, rank and just plain muscle, these women solved key barriers to the rescue. The camera work was astounding. The boys, were so playful and true to life, and the coach, using his training as a monk to keep them calm and focused, was so humble and devoted to their wellbeing. Viewers of this magnificent film quickly feel their own problems and concerns shrink to nothing as they watch the heroism of this world-wide community that saw these boys through to safety.

A fine, important series for President Obama to narrate. The script, music and incredible - unbelievable- photography tell a gentle story of progress toward preserving and increasing biodiversity, and advocating for more protected land and sea. I marvel at every creature, their habitats, societies and survival skills. The series puts in perspective human behavior in the context of all living things and the need for informed, respectful coexistence.
