Wait for this one to make it to Netflix, if you fall asleep, at least you'll be on your own couch. Good premise, bad execution. Great technically, scenery, costumes, sets, camera work. Not so good dialog, acting, storyline, timing.
There is more grunting and groaning than dialog. All the old war scenarios, buddy dies, bridge out, poor French woman, stupid English. The film bogs down and despite being a action war film moves very slowly at points. Mackay seems to almost be in tears through much of the film.
