I’m watching and writing this review simultaneously, and I must say, I do not appreciate directors being overconfident when their budget doesn’t align with their ambitions. The director should have been more mindful of where to allocate funds effectively.
The CGI and VFX in this film don’t match the overall quality of the production. For an action movie, there should be a balance between story and action scenes. However, this film is overloaded with fight sequences, hyping Dhruva unnecessarily. This isn’t Dhruva’s fault but rather the director’s, who chose to create a superficial and over-the-top film.
Additionally, a glaring issue is the depiction of Pakistan. The official language of Pakistan is Urdu, not Hindi. Yet, the director seems to believe Pakistanis speak pure Hindi. Even Bollywood uses a mix of Hindi and Urdu in Indian films. This shows a lack of research and an unrealistic portrayal.
The attempt to make Dhruva a version of Allu Arjun’s character in Naa Peru Surya fails miserably. The movie ends up feeling like a missed opportunity due to poor direction and execution.
